On August 15 and 16, 2011, two senior auditors of Beijing Tianyi Certification Center conducted a site audit at Bai LED Lights according to GJB GJB9001B-2009 quality management system. After the review, the two senior auditors admitted that the quality management system of Bai LED Lights is perfect, and the management implementation, which realizes compliance, effectiveness and adequacy, is effective. Bai LED Lights has successfully passed the site audit of the GJB GJB9001B-2009 quality management system. The National Military Standard Quality System is one more management system approved by and established following ISO9001-2008 quality management system certification of the National Quality Certification Center (CQC). It will promote R & D, production and management, as well as vigorously advancing the development of Bai LED Lights in the field of aviation, aerospace, military equipment, etc.

Before the tube electrical products are allowed into Singapore, the manufacturer must apply for PSB Certification (the company paying local taxes can hold the certificate). The products can only be sold in Singapore by passing PSB certification.

As the most authoritative and compulsory certification of electrical products in Singapore, PSB Certification has been necessary for the sale of electrical products to this market. This certification mainly applies to the safety testing of electrical products. Singapore’s rated voltage is AC230V/50Hz2, which is different to ours, so the requirements for the security and stability of the products are more strict and detailed.

The Third Semiconductor Lighting Products Competition Award Presentation Ceremony was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center Hall 3 at 6 pm on July 6, 2011. National Semiconductor Lighting Project Industrialization Base, Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research Center, Shanghai Quality Supervision, Inspection Technology Research Institute and the Chinese LED Industry Sharon Club jointly organized the competition. It was supported by Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research Center, National Electric Light Source Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Shanghai), and the LED World of the Golden Age Media. The awards ceremony was presided over by the Shanghai Semiconductor Lighting Engineering Research Center’s Dr. Zhou Yingyuan, and the head of Review and Adjudication Board, Yu Anqi who introduced the rating method adopted by this competition.

Mr Yu from the National Electric Light Source Inspection and Testing Center was the chief evaluation expert. The other evaluation experts included Professor Fang Zhilie of Fudan University, Professor Li Haifeng of Zhejiang University, and Wang Xiaoming from the management center of street lights of Shanghai and Jiangsu and Zhejiang. They conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the various types of entry products. Finally, there were16 companies, 21 products winning the “Top Ten LED Lighting Products Award”, 21 companies, 31 products being awarded the “Excellent LED Lighting Products Award”. Bai LED Lights’ 6 inch LED down light (product model: BY-SH09) won the “Top Ten LED Lighting Products Award”, and 1.2m long fluorescent tube (product model: BY-T8-288) the “Excellent LED Lighting Products Award”. What a big day!

In January 2011, after 15 days of hard work, Bai LED Lights’ employees completed the 2800 street lights ahead of schedule. The LED light source, with its high efficiency, energy saving, environmentally friendly and other qualities, has found its place in the competing strategic high ground of technology and industry in the developed world. In China’s typical LED lighting area, there have been new ideas to break through the bottleneck that exists in industry-standard technological development. Guangdong’s first benchmark index was officially launched at the Guangdong Province LED Lighting Products Benchmark Index Conference on June 23 in Zhongshan City. Guangdong Province, having the largest number of LED industries, has pioneered the dynamic assessment of the quality of the LED lamp technology in China.

This major project, far superior to the industry standard, was led by Guangdong Province Semiconductor Lighting Project, Research and Innovation Alliance. The work was carried out with the help of the following organizations: Foshan Institute of Sun Yat-sen University, Guangdong Province Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, Zhongshan Municipal People’s Government of Guangdong Province, National Institute of Standardization, Science and Technology Bureau of Zhongshan, Zhongshan Xiaolan Town People’s Government, Semiconductor Lighting Industry Technology Alliance of Zhongshan municipal, Zhongshan City Semiconductor Lighting Industry Associations. The conference included “the research background, significance and future desired effects of the LED Lighting products’ benchmark index and the system” and “LED lighting products’ benchmark index and system testing techniques, methods, norms and processes”.

More than twenty news media, including Science and Technology Daily, China Quality Daily, Nanfang Daily, Southern Metropolis Daily and Guangzhou Daily, conducted interviews and reported the event.
